Deadline: Sunday 21 February

Do you have a strong interest in cancer research? Do you want to help improve patient outcomes and experiences?

If you have recently experienced cancer as a patient or carer and want to help shape the development of research trials for cancer patients, then we want to hear from you! The National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) partnership was established in 2001 to drive collaboration between organisations that fund cancer research.

There are currently three ‘vacancies’ for a patient or carer to be involved in one of two groups:

  • Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group (CTRad). Note: experience of UK radiotherapy services is essential.
  • Lung Group

The NCRI Consumer Forum is a great place for patients and carers to have active involvement in research and although patient/carer participation is voluntary, NCRI do offer an ‘honorarium’ (a payment) which recognises the value of a volunteer’s time in preparing for and attending a meeting.

Deadline for applications is Sunday 21 February.
