We have our champions

Let us start with a huge, wow! We’ve been blown away by the effort all the clubs throughout the UK have made to turn cricket red this summer.

From red stumps to red cakes, bunting and balloons, we’ve seen hundreds of you turn out in red to support the campaign, and help raise awareness for our mission. We’re so proud of every club that has got involved.

It’s a cliché, but to even narrow down the entries to a shortlist was incredibly difficult, and there was a long debate between the judges.

However, finally two clubs stood out from the entries for their creativity, uniqueness, and for going above and beyond.

We’re delighted to congratulate Cavaliers Cricket Club and Maghull CC Women on being the champions of this years challenge! Well done to all involved at the clubs, and to everyone else who has made it such a fantastic campaign.

Why did your club take part?

Was it the opportunity to be coached at Lord’s by Sir Andrew Strauss? Or is it any excuse to hold a cake sale? We would love to know more about why you took part in this summer’s campaign.

The short survey will only take around five minutes to complete and will help us make next year even bigger and better!
