Office Principles North and Marcus Hayes of Bespoke Office Space Solutions (“BOSS”) have raised over £20,000 for the Ruth Straus Foundation at their 13 Not Out event in Birmingham at the city’s Zen Metro on Thursday 16 June 2022.
The two firms devised the cricket-themed celebration to mark a combined 13 years in business and invited more than 130 colleagues, clients, and business contacts from the commercial property sector to join them.
Headlined by former England cricketers, Simon Jones and Matthew Hoggard, the event also featured comedian Rod Woodward and live music from singer-songwriter, Edwina Hayes. Every attendee was given a raffle prize donated by local businesses, in exchange for a charitable contribution.
The funds were boosted by a live auction hosted by Ed Gamble, partner at ACRE Real Estate, which featured a range of sporting related memorabilia.
It included a signed Mark Wood England cricket shirt, tickets to the opening ceremony of Birmingham 2022 and a rare, signed print commemorating Usain Bolt’s world 100 metre record time of 9:58 seconds at the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Berlin.
Gary Tailby of Office Principles North, said that the event had provided an opportunity for him and fellow joint managing director, Tina Batham, to thank people for their support following the launch of the business three years ago.
