Fundraising bike ride across UK
We are absolutely delighted that the Ruth Strauss Foundation has been chosen as one of the charity partners for the 2021 Quintessentially Foundation Bike Ride across the UK
Due to concerns over ongoing restrictions and overseas travel, the Quintessentially Foundation bike ride will now take place in the UK on ‘Quintessentially British’ soil (previously due to take place across Italy). The trip will be an incredible adventure and we still have a limited number of places to fill on the RSF team for the ride!
This is your chance to take part in this amazing event, joining a group of 60 cyclists who will take on the challenge of cycling 500km over four days between Wednesday 8th September to Sunday 12th September 2021.
Through this event Quintessentially Foundation aim to raise funds to be split between the three charities.
The trip will see the group venture through parts of the Peak and Lake Districts and other areas of natural beauty, ending in the Cotswolds with a celebration event for the riders and their supporters.
The fundraising target is £5,000 per person (£3,000 for under 30s) and funds raised will be split between The Ruth Strauss Foundation, Grief Encounter and Quintessentially Foundation. Each rider will be required to pay a single registration fee of £750 to Quintessentially Foundation in order to secure their place on the trip, which covers all hospitality costs and transfers from London to the starting location.
